Description
Our Colombian rubber tree leaves are hand-harvested by farmers from small Afro-Colombian communities in southern Valle del Cauca. Sourced from sustainable farms within the Colombian Chocó biogeographical region—one of the world’s richest biodiversity hotspots—these leaves originate from the same ecosystem that is home to iconic poison dart frogs of the genera Oophaga, Andinobates, and Phyllobates.
Because these farms do not use pesticides, we guarantee that our leaves are free from harmful chemical residues, making them safe for sensitive amphibian species.
Why Choose Tesoros Rubber Tree Leaves?
- 100% pesticide-free
- Helps reduce the risk of skin injuries and infections
- Ideal for bioactive terrarium setups
- Enhances the realism of Neotropical frog biotopes
- Supports sustainable Afro-Colombian farming communities
These are the same leaves we use in our own breeding and conservation facilities at Tesoros. If we trust them for our frogs, you can trust them for yours.
Each pack provides enough coverage for an 18” or 24” enclosure.
Elevate your habitat with a substrate that combines authenticity, safety, and conservation impact.
