Collection: Large Oophaga

Oophaga is a genus of poison dart frogs native to Central and South America, known for their distinctive behavior in raising offspring. Female frogs of this genus exhibit a remarkable trait: they feed their tadpoles exclusively with unfertilized eggs until the tadpoles mature and leave the water. For over 12 years, we have successfully bred two species, Oophaga lehmanni and Oophaga histrionica. Recently, we have expanded our efforts to include a third species, Oophaga sylvatica.
