Description
Enhance your terrarium with the bold texture and natural durability of Tesoros Frogs Giant Bamboo Leaf Litter.
Our Colombian giant bamboo leaves are carefully hand-harvested by farmers from small Afro-Colombian communities in southern Valle del Cauca. They are sourced from sustainable farms within the Colombian Chocó biogeographical region—one of the world’s richest biodiversity hotspots and the native ecosystem of iconic poison dart frogs from the genera Oophaga, Andinobates, and Phyllobates.
Because these farms operate without pesticides, we guarantee our leaves are free of harmful chemical residues, making them safe for even the most sensitive amphibian species.
Why Choose Tesoros Giant Bamboo Leaves?
• 100% pesticide-free
• Helps reduce the risk of skin injuries and infections
• Ideal for bioactive terrarium systems
• Adds structure and realism to Neotropical frog biotopes
• Supports sustainable Afro-Colombian farming communities
These are the exact leaves we use in our own breeding and conservation facilities at Tesoros. If we trust them for our frogs, you can confidently trust them for yours.
Each pack provides generous coverage for an 18” or 24” enclosure.
Upgrade your habitat with a substrate that delivers authenticity, safety, and real conservation impact.
